Academia Movimento was founded on April 28, 1997. From the beginning, its proposal was to improve the quality of life and health of people close to its first unit in the city of Votorantim. Over time, the academy grew and more students arrived. Some wanting to lose weight, others wanting to strengthen their muscles and others just wanted to keep their health up to date. The Movement, from its beginnings until today, has remained open to all people, regardless of their physical purpose.
