Learn self defense in a fun atmosphere and be more prepared for the unexpected!

Nobody expects to be faced with a threat, but attacks happen in many forms including domestic abuse, assault, rape, bullying, car jacking, pick-pocketing, kidnapping and even verbal abuse. It is estimated that 35% of women will experience a violent act at some point in their life. We all want the women in our community to feel safe and be prepared for the unexpected. Not feeling like a potential victim is the priceless gift we want to share.

In service to our area’s valued women, internationally recognized jiu-jitsu and self-defense expert, Professor Leonardo Xavier, with LX Jiu-Jitsu & Self Defense (LX), is offering a special Women’s Self Defense Seminar on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 10 am to noon for any women looking to learn life saving self-defense techniques. The event will be presented in a relaxed, fun, and comfortable environment similar to what might be experienced in group exercises such as yoga, stretch, spin, and pilates classes.
