4-time Brazilian-Jiu-Jitsu World Champion Royler Gracie and 3-time UFC Champion Royce Gracie will be making a rare appearance together as they start off the celebrations for the 4th Annual Leonardo Xavier Jiu-Jitsu Association Gathering on Saturday November 14th, 2009 in Sugar Land Texas.
Former Gracie Family Protégé and third degree black belt Leonardo Xavier’s national association will come together and be honored with the rare opportunity of hosting both 6 degree black belt brothers as they teach a two-hour long seminar that will cover a myriad of techniques as they were created and taught by their own father Helio Gracie. Once the much anticipated seminar concludes, Royce and Royler will help Leonardo in recognizing his student’s progression in BJJ during a belt promotion ceremony that will see members from all 10 of the association’s schools take the next step towards achieving black belt excellence. After the belt promotion Royler and Royce will address the students hold a Q&A and Leonardo will kick off a special awards ceremony that will honor his own teachers and will recognize association student’s achievements both on and off the mats.
The Gathering will then culminate with LXBJJ association members from all parts of the country being treated to a very special lunch provided by Tradicao Brazilian Steakhouse, a famous Houston eatery that features some of Brazil’s finest barbeque dishes for them all to eat and enjoy together.

This past weekend was time for the Forrest Hills, NY Jiu-Jitsu Jiu-Jitsu players to learn the magic gi tricks from the "Wizard".
For the first time, Leo visited Forrest Hills, NY and was very impressed with the school and the students performance. Xavier stated: "I was impressed with the school, students and I am excited about the future of the LX Jiu-Jitsu Association. I would like to congratulate and thank all the participants for a great perfomance and for welcoming to their nice town and school.
