The LX Jiu-Jitsu Association has been granted the honor of hosting 8th Degree red and black belt Master Rickson Gracie’s first ever seminar in the state of Texas. All LX Jiu-Jitsu Association students are cordially invited to register for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be taught by the man widely regarded as possessing the most refined expression of pure Gracie Jiu-jitsu. During the seminar our students will be able to learn from the most respected member of the Gracie Family during a comprehensive two-day event that will take place at our Sugar Land Headquarters on May 29th and May 30th. Master Gracie will be teaching us the variations and nuances that have elevated his technique to Red & Black belt status for more than four hours. Students who take part in the seminar will receive an official diploma of completion from the Rickson Gracie International Jiu-Jitsu Association and will have the opportunity to take pictures with Rickson and ask the legend questions about his philosophy and the sport in general.

It is a humbling honor from Professor Xavier to be able to afford the LX Jiu-Jitsu Association students the privilege of having the same learning experience he did when training with Rickson at our own school! Professor Xavier has always expressed the deepest respect and admiration for Master Rickson’s vision of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and his undeniable skill; he has often referred to him as the “Black Belt of Black Belts” and “What every BJJ player should strive to become.” Professor Xavier lists Master Rickson Gracie and Royler Gracie as the biggest influences on his teaching philosophy and shares his same vision of showing the world Grand Master Helio Gracie’s traditional Gracie Jiu-Jitsu values.

Master Rickson Gracie is the third oldest son of the late Grand Master Helio Gracie and is regarded as the family champion. Master Rickson Gracie began competing when he was 6 years old. He is undefeated in over 400 hand-to-hand combat fights, has never lost in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition, boasts an official MMA record of 11 wins with 0 losses, with all but one of his wins coming via first round submission and is also highly ranked in Aikido, Judo and Sambo.  Master Gracie is retired from fighting and acts as an ambassador to the art his father created. His main focus now is spreading his love of pure traditional Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to eager students across the entire globe.

Master Rickson Gracie is a living legend and is honoring the LX Jiu-Jitsu Association by allowing us to host his first ever seminar in Texas.
